Sound Healing

sound_healingEverything in the Universe is in a constant state of motion. From the electrons moving around the nucleus of an atom to the planets moving around stars, there is movement everywhere. If there is movement there is vibration therefore there is sound, even if it is inaudible to the human ear. This is an ancient understanding that modern science is now beginning to accept.

Our body is in a constant state of vibration. Every organ, bone, cell, and atom right down to our DNA, all hold a particular vibrational frequency. When we are healthy our body vibrates with the correct frequency and is considered to be in harmony and balanced. If a part of the body is out of harmony, out of rhythm, this is perceived as being dis-eased and a different vibration/sound pattern is established. By projecting sound into the dis-eased area the correct frequency is restored bringing one back into optimum health and balance. Sound has been shown to have a positive effect on the autonomic, immune, endocrine and neuropeptide systems.

Sound can not only alter the electric-magnetic fields and impulses of an individual but also one’s environment, therefore is an excellent tool for space clearing one’s home or work place.

A sound healing treatment is deeply relaxing and can benefit a whole range of disorders such as stress, anxiety, depression, blood pressure, insomnia, tinnitus, headaches and general aches and pains. The client almost always leaves with an overall sense of peace, calm and well-being. Although sound has an ongoing effect on the body most people require more than one session to get their body back into balance and harmony. It is recommended that you have 3 weekly treatments then review your progress.

Healing is most effective when we are an active and responsible participant in our own healing process.
